Cloud Distribution

The ‘cloud’ has the potential to be the future of IT and ‘early mover’ companies, like Cloud Distribution, face an exciting future with huge growth potential.

However, the cloud is still not widely understood and is often surrounded by a fog of uncertainty: security risks, lack of control over data and reliance on broadband connections are some of the more commonly quoted concerns.  Greg and Scott will undoubtedly face the constant challenge of having to explain what the cloud actually means, and what it can do for businesses.

Greg has rightly identified that there are many ways to finance a growing business and, so far, they have chosen to finance Cloud Distribution entirely under their own steam.  The attractions of this route are obvious as it allows the owners to retain total control over the business direction as well as, of course, keeping all of the value of the business in their own hands.  However, there is a risk that too conservative an approach could risk the business being left behind by others adopting a more aggressive growth strategy at this critical time in the market’s life cycle.

It is clear that Greg recognises the need to maintain the balance between control and ensuring the business has the resources to thrive and exploit the exciting opportunities it faces.
