Firstly I would like to declare an interest; 2LS have been clients of James Cowper for the past five years. We have provided support and advice as 2LS has developed and refined its innovative and proven GRIP software.
It is true that the recruitment market has been hit hard with the slowdown and recession of the past two years. However, the market is now picking up and with it the recruitment sector. Now is 2LS’ time to shine and build a strong and successful business.
As with all growing businesses, 2LS should, if it has not already done so, create a business plan – a road-map that sets out where the business is heading and how it will get there. A business plan is not a static document to sit on Neil’s shelf, but a living document that will change as the business changes and grows. It will provide Neil with focus and a strategy against which progress can be measured.
Sitting alongside the business plan should be a clear marketing and sales strategy. 2LS’s GRIP software has a clear and proven application and this, together with the technical passion behind it, needs to come across in the way it is taken to market. The recruitment market changes rapidly and it is always going to be a challenge to keep on top of such changes; I am sure Neil and the team at 2LS are up to this challenge.
