New Partner at James Cowper
Ian Miles has joined Thames Valley accountants and business advisers, James Cowper as a partner.
Ian was previously chair of Grant Thornton’s national estate planning group as well as joint head of its direct tax services for charities.
At James Cowper he will continue to specialise in the management of trusts and estates as well as play a prominent role in the firm’s charities and education group.
He will also be responsible for managing the firm’s recently acquired Henley office.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to help integrate what is an already successful practice into James Cowper as a whole,” he said.
James Cowper announced the merger with Henley-based, Cave Harper in April 2008. One of Henley’s leading accountancy practices, it specialises in private client work.
“One of James Cowper’s strategic objectives is to grow its presence in the private client sector and the Henley office is an established platform which offers tremendous potential for further growth,” added Ian.
